Terms of Service for WinBall

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the mobile game WinBall ("the app"), published by Scanlyne ("we", "us", "our"). By downloading, signing in to, or playing WinBall, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or 16 where a higher minimum age applies, such as in the EEA) to use WinBall. By using the app you confirm that you meet this requirement.

2. Your account

WinBall requires you to sign in with Google Play Games Services. You are responsible for activity that happens under your account. Keep your Google account secure. We identify you by a permanent player ID provided by Google Play Games.

3. Licence to use the app

We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use WinBall for your own non-commercial entertainment. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, resell, or distribute the app except as permitted by law.

4. VIP subscription

• WinBall offers an optional VIP subscription that unlocks cosmetic perks and removes ads.
• The subscription is sold and billed through Google Play. It renews automatically for the chosen period until you cancel.
• You can view, manage, or cancel your subscription at any time in Google Play, or from inside the app via Profile → Manage subscription. Cancelling stops future renewals; access continues until the end of the current paid period.
• Payments, refunds, and taxes are handled by Google Play under its terms. Except where required by law or Google Play policy, subscription fees are non-refundable.

5. Virtual items

Any in-game items, cosmetics, or perks have no real-world monetary value, cannot be exchanged for cash, and may be modified or discontinued. They are licensed to you, not sold.

6. Community rules & conduct

WinBall includes multiplayer and in-game chat. When playing with or communicating with others, you agree that you will not:

• harass, threaten, or bully other players;
• post hateful, discriminatory, sexually explicit, or otherwise objectionable content;
• impersonate others or misrepresent your identity;
• cheat, exploit bugs, use unauthorised software, or tamper with the game;
• disrupt matches or the services that run them.

Chat messages are visible to other players in your room. Players can report abusive messages, which are sent to us for review. We may remove content and suspend or ban accounts that break these rules, at our discretion.

7. User content

You are responsible for the messages and content you send. By sending content through the app, you grant us the right to display it to other players and to store and review it for moderation and safety. We do not claim ownership of your content.

8. Advertising

WinBall shows advertising to non-VIP players through Google AdMob. Ads are provided by third parties; we are not responsible for the products or content of third-party ads.

9. Intellectual property

WinBall is an original game created by Scanlyne, inspired by the physics-based arena-football genre. All game code, art, and audio are owned by us or our licensors. WinBall is an independent work and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any other game or company.

10. Disclaimers

WinBall is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that online matches will always be available.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Scanlyne shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app. Our total liability for any claim relating to the app shall not exceed the amount you paid us (if any) in the twelve months before the claim.

12. Termination

You may stop using WinBall at any time and delete your data via Profile → Delete account & data. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or misuse the app.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Algeria, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
